Documentary Stamp Tax

The Documentary Stamp Tax amount is $2.25 per $1,000 or fraction thereof.

Transfers of beneficial interest in or legal title to real property are subject to this tax, and are based on the value of the real estate transferred. The tax is due at the time the deed is presented for recording.
