FLU VACCINE INFORMATION
- Seasonal Flu Vaccines:Â Flu vaccines are offered each fall in alignment with current vaccination recommendations.
- Community Clinics:Â Clinics will be held in surrounding Clay County communities to ensure convenient access for residents.
- Cost & Insurance: Out‑of‑pocket payment is available, and insurance billing is accepted.
Foot Care Services
Community Foot Care Clinics Monthly clinics are offered in the following communities for $15:
- Edgar
- Clay Center
- Sutton
- Harvard
In‑Office Foot Care Appointments are welcome and available by scheduling. Cost: $20
Pediatric Vaccines (VFC Program – Nebraska)
We provide pediatric vaccines for children ages 6 weeks through 18 years through Nebraska’s Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program. This program ensures that eligible children can receive recommended vaccines at no cost for the vaccine itself.
Children qualify for the VFC program if they are:
- Medicaid‑insured
- Uninsured
- Under‑insured (vaccines not covered by their insurance)
- American Indian or Alaska Native
The VFC program supplies the vaccine at no charge
Adult & Travel Vaccines
We offer a variety of routine and travel‑related vaccines, including:
- Hepatitis A
- Influenza (Flu)
- COVID‑19
- Shingrix (Shingles)
- Typhoid
- Rabies
- Tetanus
In‑Home Care Services
In‑home vaccination and basic health services are available for individuals with disabilities who are homebound or who would have significant difficulty accessing the health department. This service helps ensure that all community members can receive essential care safely and comfortably in their homes.
