Special Clinics

Flu Vaccination

  • Flu clinics held in late September through October.
  • Clinics held in surrounding Clay County community centers and businesses
  • Out of pocket cost, Blue Cross or Medicare accepted

Foot care

  • Community Clinics held monthly $15
    • Edgar: 8:30-10:30 at the Leisure village Community room, on the last Tuesday each month.
    • Sutton: 8:30-10:30 at the Community Center, on the 4th Thursday each month.
    • Clay Center: 8:30-10:30 at the Health Department on the 4th Friday each month.
    • Harvard: 8:30 – 10:30 at the Housing Authority on the 4th Wednesday every other month.
  • In Office Private Foot care $20
    • By appointment only

Equipment Checkout (No cost): Commodes, walkers, bath chairs, etc.

Education Programs: Free for any age group or organization, by request.

Immunizations

Pediatric Vaccines

Children Clinics: 3rd Tuesday every month, 3-6 PM; no appointment necessary
Qualification for the Vaccines for Children Program:

  • Ages 6 weeks through 18 years
  • Medicaid
  • Uninsured or under insured (insurance doesn’t cover cost of vaccine)
  • American Indian or Alaskan Native

Adult vaccinations by appointment

Vaccines (hepA, hepB, Tdap, shingrix, typhoid*, Rabies*)
*special order only

  • Out of pocket cost

  • Medicare D (for Shingrix)
  • Medica

In home vaccine administration is available to individuals with disabilities who are homebound or would have a difficult time accessing the health dept.
