NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
PROPERTY TAX INCREASES
Public notice is hereby given, in compliance with the provisions of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 77-1633:
Clay County Joint Public Hearing will be held on the 16th day of September 2026, at 6:15 p.m., at the High School Gymnasium – Sandy Creek Public School, 30671 NE-14, Fairfield, NE 68938 for public input on property tax increases proposed by the subdivisions:
Harvard City property tax request: $305,561.00

Thayer County Joint Public Hearing will be held on the 17th day of September 2026, at 6:01 p.m., at the Thayer County Courthouse, Club Room, 225 N 4th Street, Hebron, NE 68370 for public input on property tax increases proposed by the subdivisions:
Bruning-Davenport USD property tax request: $5,464,647.00

The meeting is open to the public with a representative from the political subdivision present at their respective hearing. Accommodations for the disabled are available upon request. There is no item on the agenda for this joint public meeting other than discussion of the political subdivision’s intent to increase its property tax request by a percentage greater than the “allowable growth percentage” defined in § 77-1633.
